The American Rural Health Institute (ARHI) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to bridging the gap in rural healthcare delivery in developing countries. We believe everyone deserves an improved quality of life regardless of culture, religion, or ethnicity.
Our program's mission is to provide services and support to medical professionals by creating a sound knowledge-sharing environment and a robust, supportive learning platform through our training program. We foster partnerships among rural medical professionals based on mutual trust and respect for local culture, history, and dynamics.
We invite doctors, nurses, administrators from small fishing villages along the Niger River, mountain farming communities in Myanmar, Thailand, and Laos, coffee and soybean farming regions, indigenous populations in the Amazon rainforest, and geopolitically complex areas in Eastern Europe to join our program. Through the ARHI program, participants have the opportunity to build friendships, expand their knowledge, and gain experience by connecting with American colleagues who share a focus on rural healthcare delivery. Upon returning home, participants can utilize limited resources more effectively to deliver healthcare in their villages and towns, ultimately improving the quality of life for their communities.
As Benjamin Franklin once wisely stated, "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."
